Summary

L.L.Bean is recalling about 600 Allagash fixed blade hunting knives because the knife blade can cut through the protective leather sheath. The company has received three reports of consumers suffering minor cuts to their hands when the blade pierced the sheath. These knives were sold at L.L.Bean stores, in catalogs, and online from August 2017 to February 2018 for approximately $90.

The sharp knife blade can pierce through the side of the leather sheath during normal handling or storage, posing a significant risk of cuts and lacerations to the user's hands.
