Summary

Isuzu Motors Limited is recalling approximately 17,084 trucks, including 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD, 2018-2026 Chevrolet 6500XD, and Isuzu FTR models. The axle stabilizer bracket bolts can crack and break, which may cause the entire bracket to fall off the vehicle while driving. Authorized dealers will replace the stabilizer bar brackets for all affected vehicles free of charge.

Risk

If the axle stabilizer bracket detaches from the vehicle, it creates a significant road hazard for other drivers, which increases the danger of a crash. There have been no reported injuries related to this defect at this time.
