Summary

Haldex Commercial Vehicle Systems is recalling 4,717 inversion valves used in commercial air brake systems. An internal piston within these valves can fail, which significantly delays the engagement of the vehicle's parking brake. This defect causes the valves to fail Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements for air brake systems. Haldex will provide a free replacement valve to all affected owners.
