Summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 62,813 Maverick Hybrid vehicles from the 2022 and 2023 model years. The instrument panel cluster in these vehicles may fail to illuminate critical warning lights and gauges, including the speedometer. Dealers will provide a free software update to the instrument panel cluster to correct this defect.

Risk

If the instrument panel does not light up, the driver cannot see essential safety information like vehicle speed or warning indicators. This lack of visibility significantly increases the risk of a crash.

  2. Contact a Ford or Lincoln dealer to schedule a free appointment to have your instrument panel cluster software updated.
