Summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 229,609 model year 2025-2026 Bronco and Bronco Sport vehicles because the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail to activate when the vehicle is started. When this occurs, the driver cannot see critical information such as the speedometer or safety warning lights. Ford will update the instrument panel software free of charge, either through a dealership or via an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Risk

A blank or non-functioning instrument panel prevents the driver from seeing the vehicle's speed and other critical safety warnings, which increases the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. This recall involves 2025-2026 Ford Bronco and 2025-2026 Ford Bronco Sport vehicles equipped with an Instrument Panel Cluster that may fail at startup.
  2. Ford will provide a free software update for the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). This update can be performed by a Ford dealer or completed remotely through an over-the-air (OTA) software update.
  3. Contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference Ford's internal recall number 25SC3 for more information.
