Summary

International Motors, LLC is recalling 22 units of the 2025 EMV commercial vehicle. These vehicles may have been manufactured with a missing circuit breaker, which results in a completely inoperative windshield defrosting system. Dealers will install a new 5A circuit breaker and an identification label at no cost to owners.

Risk

An inoperative windshield defrosting system prevents the driver from clearing the windshield of frost or fog, which can significantly decrease visibility and increase the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Contact an authorized International Motors dealer to schedule a service appointment for the free installation of a 5A circuit breaker and label.
  2. Identify if your vehicle is affected by checking the model year (2025) and model (EMV), or by contacting International customer service at 1-800-448-7825 regarding recall number 24518.
  3. Review the owner notification letter sent on January 17, 2025, for specific instructions and local dealer contact information.
  4. For additional information or to check your VIN, contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
