Summary

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling 12 of its 2025 ATC PLA550 Bumper Pull trailers because the power wire from the battery to the stabilizer jacks was installed incorrectly. This wiring lacks the necessary circuit protection required to prevent electrical overloads. Dealers will inspect the wiring and install a 30 AMP fuse at no cost to owners.

Risk

Without over-current circuit protection, the wiring may experience a short circuit, which significantly increases the risk of a vehicle fire.
