Summary

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. is recalling approximately 172 of its 2026 Trail Boss and Ameri-Lite trailers. The taillight harness wires in these vehicles may be reversed, causing the turn signals to flash in the opposite direction from what the driver intends. Authorized dealers will rewire the turn signals free of charge, and owners are advised not to tow their trailers until this repair is finished.

Risk

When turn signals indicate the wrong direction, other drivers cannot correctly anticipate the trailer's movements, which significantly increases the risk of a crash. Owners should not tow these trailers until the wiring has been corrected.
