Summary

Forest River, Inc. is recalling approximately 19 of its 2022-2024 Forester and Sunseeker motorhomes due to a wiring defect. The park brake signal wire may not be properly connected to the house battery control center, which can allow the vehicle's slideroom to extend while the motorhome is in motion. Forest River dealers will connect the signal wire to the battery control center at no cost to owners.

Risk

If the slideroom extends unexpectedly while the vehicle is being driven, it could strike other vehicles, pedestrians, or objects, significantly increasing the risk of a crash and serious injury.
