Summary

Jayco, Inc. is recalling 129 of its 2025 Jayco Eagle fifth wheels, Eagle HT fifth wheels, and Eagle HT travel trailers because the certification labels display the wrong tire size and tire load capacity information. Because these labels are inaccurate, the vehicles do not comply with federal safety certification requirements. Jayco will mail corrected replacement labels to all affected owners free of charge to ensure the correct information is available for maintenance.

Risk

If the certification label contains incorrect data, it could lead to the installation of tires that cannot safely support the trailer's weight or handle as intended. Using the wrong tires increases the risk of tire failure or loss of control, which could lead to a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. The recalled vehicles are 2025 Jayco Eagle fifth wheels, Eagle HT fifth wheels, and Eagle HT travel trailers that were manufactured with incorrect tire information on their certification labels.
  2. Jayco will mail replacement certification labels to owners of the affected trailers free of charge.
  3. If you have questions or have not received a label, contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 and reference recall number 9901621.
