Summary

Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling 95 of its 2024 Unity and 2024 Wonder motorhomes because the weight capacity labels are incorrect. The metric and imperial Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) values were accidentally swapped on the vehicle labels. Triple E will mail owners corrected labels for free to ensure vehicles are not accidentally overloaded.

Risk

An incorrect weight label can lead a driver to unintentionally overload the motorhome. This excessive weight can strain the vehicle's components and handling, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your vehicle is affected by checking if you own a 2024 Triple E Unity or 2024 Triple E Wonder motorhome.
  2. Check your mail for a notification letter and a corrected weight label (GVWR) from Triple E, which were sent out starting October 9, 2024.
  3. Apply the new, corrected labels over the old ones according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
  4. Contact Triple E Customer Service at 1-204-325-4361 if you have not received your label or have questions, referencing recall number CA#10616-1.
  5. Call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls for additional information.
