Summary

Ember Recreational Vehicles is recalling four 2023-2024 Overland Series, Touring Edition, and E-Series travel trailers. These trailers were manufactured with incorrect certification labels that state the wrong cargo carrying capacity, which could lead owners to inadvertently overload the vehicle. Ember is providing owners with corrected labels to replace the inaccurate ones free of charge.

Risk

An inaccurate label can cause an owner to load the trailer beyond its intended weight limits. An overloaded trailer is more difficult to control and places excessive stress on the tires and suspension, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your trailer's certification label to see if it is a 2023-2024 Ember Overland Series, Touring Edition, or E-Series travel trailer.
  2. If your vehicle is affected, wait to receive a new, corrected label which Ember is mailing to owners free of charge.
  3. Apply the new label over the incorrect one once it arrives to ensure you have the accurate cargo carrying capacity information.
  4. If you have questions or have not received your label, contact Ember Recreational Vehicles customer service at 1-844-732-4204.
  5. For additional information, you can contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
