Summary

Orange EV is recalling 47 Husk-e terminal trucks from model years 2023 through 2025. These vehicles contain a high-voltage short circuit protection system with a fuse that may be inadequate. Orange EV will replace the fuse in all affected vehicles free of charge to ensure the electrical system is properly protected.

Risk

In the event of an electrical short, the inadequate fuse may blow too slowly or fail to open at all. This failure allows the system to overheat, which significantly increases the risk of a vehicle fire.
