Summary

Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling approximately 199 model year 2025 Sentra vehicles because the driver's seat frame may not be fully secured to the outer side of the seat track. This defect means the vehicles do not meet federal safety standards for seating systems and seat belt anchorages. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver's side lower seat frame assembly free of charge.

Risk

If the driver's seat is not properly secured, it may fail to adequately restrain the driver during a collision. This failure significantly increases the risk of injury to the driver in the event of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. The recalled vehicles are 2025 Nissan Sentras where the driver's seat frame might not be fully secured to the outer side of the seat track. Approximately 199 vehicles are affected.
  2. Contact an authorized Nissan dealer to schedule a free inspection of the driver's side lower seat frame assembly.
  3. If the inspection reveals the seat frame is unsecured, the dealer will replace the seat frame assembly at no cost to you.
  4. For more information, contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 and reference recall number PMA45.
