Summary

Sentury Tire Thailand is recalling approximately 8,900 tires across several brands including Arroyo, Landgolden, Landsail, Lexani, Lionhart, Mavis, Mohave, National, Radar, and Vercelli. The recall was initiated because the base tread layer of these tires was improperly cured during manufacturing. Dealers will replace all affected tires with new ones free of charge.

Risk

The improperly cured tread can separate from the body of the tire while driving. If the tread separates, the vehicle can become unstable and difficult to control, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your tires immediately to see if they are from any of the following brands: Arroyo, Landgolden, Landsail, Lexani, Lionhart, Mavis, Mohave, National, Radar, or Vercelli.
  2. Locate the Department of Transportation (DOT) production codes on the sidewall of your tires to confirm if they are part of the affected production population.
  3. If your tires are part of this recall, contact Sentury Tire at 1-866-305-2750 to arrange for a free replacement at an authorized dealer. Refer to recall number 1723 when calling.
  4. If you have further questions, contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
