REV Recreation Group: Various Motorhomes Recalled for Fire Risk from Hydraulic Fluid Leaks

Summary

REV Recreation Group is recalling 4,395 motorhomes across several brands, including 2018-2023 Fleetwood and Holiday Rambler models, because hydraulic lines may have been improperly routed or secured. This defect can lead to hydraulic fluid leaks, which can cause a fire if the fluid hits an ignition source like a hot engine or exhaust. Dealers will inspect and protect or replace these hoses free of charge to ensure owner safety.

Risk

Improperly secured hydraulic lines can chafe or suffer heat damage, resulting in a fluid leak. If this flammable fluid contacts an ignition source, it can cause a fire while the vehicle is in operation or parked.

What You Should Do

  1. Check if your vehicle is one of the affected models: 2018-2019 Fleetwood Jamboree; 2020-2023 Fleetwood Southwind, Bounder, Flair, Fortis; 2020-2023 Holiday Rambler Admiral, Invicta, Vacationer; 2021-2023 Fleetwood Discovery, Discovery LXE; 2021-2023 Holiday Rambler Navigator, Armada, Nautica; 2023 Fleetwood Flex, Holiday Rambler Eclipse; 2021 Fleetwood Pace Arrow LXE; 2018 Holiday Rambler Vesta; 2022-2023 Fleetwood Frontier; 2021-2022 Fleetwood Pace Arrow, Holiday Rambler Endeavor; or 2019 Holiday Rambler Augusta.
