Summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling 37 of its 2024 AT200A aerial trucks because of a fire hazard. The hydraulic hoses were installed too close to the engine's exhaust manifold, which can cause the hoses to overheat and potentially catch fire. Altec will provide and install a remedy kit to secure the hoses at a safe distance from the exhaust manifold free of charge.

Risk

The inadequate clearance between hydraulic hoses and the engine exhaust manifold can cause the hoses to overheat, significantly increasing the risk of a vehicle fire during operation.
