Summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 457 of its 2024-2025 E-Transit Chassis Cab vehicles because the side rails of the high voltage battery pack tray may buckle or crack. This structural failure can allow water to leak into the battery assembly, which may cause an electrical short circuit. To address this safety risk, Ford dealers will inspect and either repair or replace the battery assembly free of charge.
