Summary

BorgWarner has issued a recall for approximately 543 high voltage battery packs used in various commercial vehicles and equipment. Loose hardware inside the battery pack can detach and cause an electrical short circuit. This short circuit can lead to a sudden loss of drive power or a vehicle fire, though no incidents or injuries have been reported at this time.
