Summary

McLaren Automotive Incorporated is recalling approximately 164 of its 2023 Artura vehicles due to a defect where the nuts for the high-pressure fuel pipe may loosen. This loosening can lead to a fuel leak in the engine compartment. McLaren dealers will replace the affected high-pressure fuel pipes with new ones free of charge to prevent the risk of fire.

Risk

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine components, can cause a vehicle fire. This defect increases the danger of fire-related injuries to occupants or bystanders while the vehicle is in operation.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your vehicle is affected by checking if you own a 2023 McLaren Artura.
  2. Contact an authorized McLaren dealer to schedule a service appointment for a free repair.
  3. Bring your vehicle to the dealer, where they will replace the high-pressure fuel pipes at no cost to you.
  4. If you have additional questions, contact McLaren customer service at 1-646-429-8916.
