Summary

Hawthorne Hydroponics is recalling about 400 Ideal-Air 175-pint industrial grade humidifiers because they can overheat during use. There have been 5 reports of these units overheating, which creates a serious risk of fire and electrical shock. These black humidifiers feature the "Ideal-Air" logo near the bottom and were sold at various gardening stores nationwide between October 2017 and June 2018 for approximately $500. Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase for store credit.
