Hardies Fruit & Vegetable Co., LP has recalled approximately 14,925 units of various onion products and mixed fruit and vegetable amenity boxes due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The recall includes Red Jumbo Onions, Red Medium Onions, Yellow Jumbo Onions, and Amenity Box Mix Fruits and Vegetables distributed in 5-pound or 19-20 pound cardboard boxes. Consumers who have purchased these specific vegetable products should not consume them and should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

  2. Check for Onion Yellow Jumbo in 5-pound cardboard boxes (Product Code 2377) with lot numbers X1811465, X1811878, X1815161, X1815602, X1816204, X1816796, X1817322, X1817714, X1818858, X1818946, X1819013, X1819360, X1819959, or X1820456.
  3. Identify if you have an Amenity Box Mix Fruits and Vegetables in a 19-20 pound cardboard box (Product Code 11303) with lot numbers X1812481 or X1815705.
  4. Immediately stop using and do not consume any of the affected products listed above.
  5. Return the affected products to the place of purchase to receive a full refund.
