Goal Zero is recalling approximately 7,850 power cables, specifically the 12-foot EC8 Extension cable (model 98201) and the Male EC8 to Ring cable (model 98202). These cables can experience connector pin deformation and overheating, which poses a significant fire hazard. The recalled items were sold nationwide at Bass Pro, REI, Sportsman's Warehouse, Amazon, Backcountry, and GoalZero.com from March 2019 through December 2020.
