Summary

Glopo is recalling about 520 Joyrider three-wheeled scooters because the front wheels can detach while a child is riding. The firm has received one report of the wheels detaching, which caused a child to fall and suffer an injury. These scooters feature low, foot-gripping decks, multicolored handgrips, and adjustable metal T-bar handles, and were sold in various colors at Amazon.com and Zulily.com between June 2014 and January 2016. Consumers should immediately stop using these scooters and contact Glopo for a free repair kit.

Risk

The scooter's front wheels can unexpectedly come off during use, causing the rider to lose control and fall. This defect has already resulted in one reported injury to a child.
