Summary

Forest River, Inc. is recalling approximately 1,027 motorhomes, including 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, and Sunseeker models, as well as 2021-2024 Nova models. These vehicles are equipped with Cummins Onan QG 2800i or Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets where a fuel hose between the fuel filter and injection pump may have loose clamps. This defect can lead to a gasoline leak, which Cummins dealers will repair by inspecting and replacing the fuel hose and clamps for free.

Risk

The loose clamps on the fuel hose can cause gasoline to leak. If this gasoline comes into contact with an ignition source, it significantly increases the risk of a vehicle fire.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your vehicle's make, model, and year to see if it is one of the affected 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, Sunseeker, or 2021-2024 Nova motorhomes.
  2. Verify if your motorhome is equipped with a Cummins Onan QG 2800i or Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator set.
  3. Contact a Cummins Dealer to schedule a free inspection and replacement of the generator's fuel hose and clamps.
  4. For questions regarding the generator, contact Cummins at 1-800-286-6467 or 1-800-CUMMINS.
  5. For questions regarding your motorhome, contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600 or Coachmen Class B customer service at 1-574-825-8602, referencing recall number 51-1626.
