Summary

Cummins, Inc. is recalling approximately 15,622 Onan QG 2800i and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets due to a defect where the fuel hose between the fuel filter and Injection Pump Module (IPM) may not be properly secured. This loose connection can lead to a gasoline leak during operation. To resolve this issue, authorized dealers will inspect the fuel hose and clamps and replace them as necessary at no cost to the owner.

Risk

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source significantly increases the risk of a fire, which can lead to property damage or personal injury.
