Summary

General Motors is recalling approximately 857 Chevrolet Express Cutaway and GMC Savana Cutaway vehicles from the 2025 and 2026 model years. These vehicles may have tires with damage to the sidewall, which can lead to sudden air loss or a loss of vehicle control. General Motors will provide free inspections and replace any damaged tires at no cost to owners.

Risk

A damaged tire sidewall can fail unexpectedly, causing the tire to lose air rapidly or making it difficult for the driver to steer, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. Contact a Chevrolet or GMC dealer to schedule a free inspection of all tire sidewalls on your vehicle.
  2. If damage is found during the inspection, the dealer will replace the affected tires free of charge.
  3. If you have questions, contact GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, referencing GM recall number N252542620.
  4. You can also verify if your specific vehicle is affected by entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at www.nhtsa.gov/recalls.
  5. Call the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) for additional information.
