Summary

Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 293 vehicles, including certain 2025 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery Sport, and Jaguar F-Pace models, as well as 2026 Range Rover Evoque models. During assembly, moisture may have entered the gear shift module, which can cause the gear shift position indicator light to fail. To fix this issue, dealers will replace the gear shift module free of charge.

Risk

If the gear shift position indicator light fails to work, drivers may have difficulty identifying which gear the vehicle is currently in. This confusion can lead to the driver selecting the wrong gear, significantly increasing the risk of a crash.
