Summary

Transfer Flow Inc. is recalling approximately 4,281 TRAX 4 Control Modules used with auxiliary fuel tanks. These modules can unexpectedly pump fuel into the primary fuel tank, causing it to overflow and leak. To fix this safety defect, Transfer Flow will install new firmware on affected units at no cost to the owner.

Risk

The malfunctioning control module can cause fuel to leak from the primary tank; if this leaking fuel encounters an ignition source, it creates a significant risk of a vehicle fire.
