Summary

NPC Processing, LLC is issuing a public health alert for approximately two varieties of Organic Rancher brand raw ground beef because the products may contain pieces of hard, rigid plastic. The problem was discovered after consumers reported finding plastic in the meat; however, no illnesses or adverse reactions have been confirmed to date. These vacuum-sealed packages were produced on April 20, 2022, and were shipped to Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.
