Summary

Ducati North America is recalling approximately 1,016 motorcycles, specifically certain 2025 Panigale V2 and 2025-2026 Streetfighter V2 models. The fuses for the anti-lock braking system (ABS) pump and the control unit may have been installed in the wrong positions during assembly. This can cause the braking system to malfunction and possibly lead to the wheels locking up while riding. Authorized dealers will inspect the fuses and repair them at no cost to owners.

Risk

If the ABS fuses are reversed, the brakes may not function correctly, which can cause the front or rear wheels to lock up suddenly. This issue can lead to a loss of control, increasing the danger of a crash or serious injury. No accidents or injuries have been reported to date.

What You Should Do

  1. This recall involves 2025 Panigale V2 and 2025-2026 Ducati Streetfighter V2 motorcycles where ABS fuses may have been reversed during manufacturing.
