The affected salads were distributed across 20 U.S. states and parts of Canada, bearing product codes Z324 through Z350.
The salad products may contain Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Listeria infection can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
