Summary

Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 41,875 Lincoln Corsair vehicles from model years 2020 through 2022. Water can leak into the rearview camera connectors, which may cause the camera image to appear distorted or not show up on the display at all. Dealers will replace both the rearview camera and its wiring harness at no cost to owners.

Risk

A rearview camera that displays a blank or distorted image reduces the driver's ability to see objects or people behind the vehicle while reversing. This lack of visibility increases the risk of a crash.

What You Should Do

  1. This recall affects 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair vehicles where water entry into the rearview camera electrical connectors may cause the display to fail.
  2. Contact a Lincoln or Ford dealer to schedule a free replacement of the rearview camera and the camera wiring harness.
  3. Be aware that interim notification letters regarding this safety risk were mailed in August 2025; a second notice will be sent when the final repair parts are ready, which is currently expected in May 2026.
  4. For further information, contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 25S83.
  5. Call the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov/recalls for more details.
