Summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling approximately 268 aerial devices, including 2021-2025 AA Series, 2024-2025 AM Series, and 2025 AN Series models. The outrigger pad holder on these vehicles may have been installed too close to the exhaust outlet, which can cause the pad to overheat and catch fire. Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the placement and will provide a free kit to relocate the holder or exhaust outlet if necessary.

Risk

The exhaust system may overheat the outrigger pad because of its close proximity, significantly increasing the risk of a vehicle fire. No incidents or injuries have been reported at this time.
