Approximately 70,200 Everbilt 6-1/2 inch Stainless Steel Door Pulls (model 14339) are being recalled because they can have sharp edges on the back. Home Depot has received 42 reports of these door pulls containing sharp edges, including 11 reports of minor injuries. These rounded, bow-shaped pulls were sold exclusively at Home Depot stores and online from April 2018 through May 2019 for about $6. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pulls and return them to Home Depot for a full refund.

Risk

The back of the metal door pull can have sharp edges that cut the user's hand when they grasp it. Eleven minor laceration injuries have already been reported due to this defect.
