REV Recreation Group: 2023 Motorhomes Recalled for Entry Door Latch Failure

Summary

REV Recreation Group is recalling approximately 479 of its 2023 motorhomes across several brands, including Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, and American Coach models. The entry door latch on these vehicles may fail, which can prevent the door from being opened from either the inside or the outside. Dealers will inspect the door latch and replace it if necessary at no cost to owners.

Risk

If the entry door latch fails, occupants may be unable to enter or exit the vehicle. In an emergency situation, the inability to quickly exit the motorhome increases the risk of serious injury.

What You Should Do

  1. Check if your motorhome is one of the affected 2023 models: Fleetwood (Bounder, Flair, Flex, Fortis, Southwind, Discovery, Discovery LXE, Frontier, Frontier GTX, Pace Arrow), Holiday Rambler (Admiral, Eclipse, Invicta, Vacationer, Armada, Endeavor, Navigator, Nautica), or American Coach (American Tradition).
  2. Contact an authorized REV Recreation Group dealer to schedule a free inspection and, if necessary, a replacement of the entry door latch.
  3. If you have questions, contact REV Recreation Group Customer Service at 1-800-509-3417 and mention recall number 230224REV.
  4. You may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov for more information.
