Summary

Aston Martin is recalling approximately 1,095 vehicles, including the 2024-2025 DBX707, 2024-2025 DB12, and 2025 Vantage models. The engine oil cooler hose in these vehicles may split while driving, causing a sudden loss of oil and oil pressure. This defect can cause the engine to stall or seize unexpectedly, and dealers will replace the affected hoses free of charge.

Risk

A split hose can lead to a sudden loss of oil pressure, which may cause the engine to stop running or lock up while the vehicle is in motion, significantly increasing the risk of a crash or an engine compartment fire.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your vehicle is affected by checking your model and year: 2024-2025 Aston Martin DBX707, 2024-2025 DB12, or 2025 Vantage.
  2. Contact an authorized Aston Martin dealer to schedule a free replacement of the engine oil cooler hoses.
  3. If you have further questions, contact Aston Martin customer service at 1-888-923-9988 and reference recall number RA-03-1973.
  4. Call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov for additional recall information.
