Summary

Approximately 248,999 Acura and Honda vehicles, including certain 2015-2020 Acura TLX, 2016-2020 Acura MDX, 2016 and 2018-2019 Pilot, 2017 and 2019 Ridgeline, and 2018-2019 Odyssey models, are being recalled. A manufacturing error in the engine's connecting rod bearing can cause the bearing to wear and seize, which may damage the engine or cause it to stall. Dealers will inspect and either repair or replace the engine as necessary at no cost to the owner.

Risk

  3. If you own a 2016-2020 Acura MDX, be aware that official owner notification letters are being sent in phases through January 27, 2025, but you can contact a dealer now for information.
