Summary

Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling approximately 23 motorhomes, including 2023 Unity (models U24MB, U24CB, U24FX, U24MBL, U24RL, U24TB) and 2023 Wonder (models W24RL, W24RTB). These vehicles may have exposed copper at the exterior GFCI electrical outlet, which can lead to an electrical short circuit or arcing. Dealers will shorten the copper wires to the correct length to resolve the issue for free.

Risk

An electrical short or arcing in the exterior receptacle can generate heat or sparks, significantly increasing the risk of a vehicle fire.

What You Should Do

  1. Identify if your vehicle is affected by checking your model and year: 2023 Triple E Unity (U24MB, U24CB, U24FX, U24MBL, U24RL, U24TB) or 2023 Triple E Wonder (W24RL, W24RTB).
  2. Contact a Triple E Recreational Vehicles dealer to schedule a free repair, where a technician will shorten the copper wire at the GFCI exterior receptacle to the correct length.
  3. If you have further questions, contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906 and reference recall number CA#10311-1.
  4. For additional information, you may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.nhtsa.gov.
