Summary

Dropcases Limited is recalling approximately 1,624 Lectron Vortex Tesla Supercharger (NACS) to Combined Charging System (CCS) adapters. The adapter may not securely latch to the charger, allowing it to be disconnected while power is still flowing. Dropcases Limited will replace all affected adapters with a new unit free of charge.

Risk

If the adapter fails to latch properly, the charger can be disconnected without the power shutting off first. This exposes the user to live electrical current, which poses a serious risk of electrical shock and potential injury.
