Summary

Mack Trucks, Inc. is recalling approximately 59,338 vehicles, including model years 2020-2025 Anthem, Granite, TerraPro, and Pinnacle trucks. These vehicles are equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU) that may suffer from electrical noise or low signal, causing the unit to process commands incorrectly or stop working entirely. Dealers will repair these vehicles by reprogramming the ECU software free of charge.

Risk

If the ECU malfunctions, essential safety systems—including Automatic Traction Control, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, and the Collision Mitigation System—may lose functionality, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.
