E-filliate Recalls DEWALT Wireless Earphones Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

Summary

E-filliate has recalled approximately 301,800 DEWALT Jobsite Pro Wireless Earphones featuring a distinctive black and yellow neckband. These earphones were sold at Home Depot, Lowe's, and other hardware stores nationwide and online from December 2019 through July 2021 for about $60. The product is being recalled because it can overheat during charging or while in use, creating a danger of fire and burns to the user.

Risk

The earphones' internal components can overheat during operation or charging, which has already resulted in 61 reports of overheating, five fires, and four reports of minor burn injuries to consumers.

What You Should Do

  1. Immediately stop using and stop charging the DEWALT Jobsite Pro Wireless Earphones.
  2. Check the left side of the neckband for one of the following manufacture codes: D4 1910, D4 1912, D4 2003, D4 2004, D4 2006, D4 2009, D4 2011, D4 2012, D4 2101, D4 2103, or D4 2104. If no manufacture code is present, the product is also included in this recall.
  3. Contact E-filliate toll-free at 888-979-4439 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, email at DW2091@efilliate.com, or visit https://www.efilliate.com/notices/DXMA1902091 to receive a pre-paid shipment label to return the product.
  4. Consumers should immediately stop using the wireless earphones and contact E-filliate to receive a pre-paid shipment label to return the product directly to E-filliate in order to receive a free replacement.
