Summary

Nissan North America is recalling approximately 12,400 vehicles, including certain 2023 Nissan Rogue, 2023 Nissan Pathfinder, and 2023 Infiniti QX60 models. The driver's powered seat in these vehicles may not be properly secured to the seat frame, which can cause internal welds to detach from the seat bracket. Dealers will inspect the seat rail clearance and replace the seat cushion frame if necessary, free of charge.

Risk

If the seat frame welds break, the driver's seat may not be fully secured, which can prevent the seat from properly restraining the driver during a crash, significantly increasing the risk of injury.

What You Should Do

  1. Check if your vehicle is one of the affected models: a 2023 Nissan Rogue, 2023 Nissan Pathfinder, or 2023 Infiniti QX60.
  2. Contact an authorized Nissan or Infiniti dealer to schedule a free inspection of the driver's seat rail clearance and potential replacement of the seat cushion frame.
