Summary

Nissan North America is recalling 82 replacement driver-side powered seat cushion frames sold for certain 2021-2023 Rogue, 2022-2023 Pathfinder, and 2022-2023 INFINITI QX60 vehicles. The seat may not be fully secured to its frame, which can cause the seat welds to break and detach from the bracket. Dealers will inspect the seat rail clearance and, if necessary, replace the seat cushion frame free of charge.

Risk

If the seat frame welds detach, the seat may not properly restrain the driver during a crash, significantly increasing the risk of serious injury.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your vehicle service records to see if your driver-side powered seat cushion frame was replaced with any of the following part numbers: 873516RD0A, 873516RF0A, 873516TA0A, or 873516TA1A.
  2. If you have one of these replacement parts installed in a 2021-2023 Nissan Rogue, 2022-2023 Nissan Pathfinder, or 2022-2023 INFINITI QX60, contact an authorized dealer to schedule a free inspection.
  3. If the inspection reveals improper seat rail clearance, the dealer will replace the driver's seat cushion frame at no cost to you.
  4. Nissan owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 regarding recall number PC966/7.
  5. INFINITI owners may contact INFINITI customer service at 1-800-867-7669 regarding recall number PC980/1.
