Summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 7,738 Mopar rear quarter glass window assemblies. The trim pieces on the driver and passenger side windows may not have been properly secured during manufacturing, which can cause them to fall off the vehicle. If the assembly is already installed, dealers will inspect and replace the window glass at no cost; if the part has been purchased but not yet installed, dealers will repurchase it from the owner.

Risk

The window trim pieces can detach while the vehicle is moving, becoming a road hazard for other drivers. This increases the risk of a collision or crash for trailing vehicles.
