Summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 163,735 Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer vehicles from the 2022-2025 model years. The trim pieces on the driver and passenger side doors may have been improperly installed during manufacturing. This defect can cause the trim to become loose or completely detach from the vehicle while it is in motion. Dealers will perform a free inspection and replace the door trim pieces as needed.

Risk

If the door trim detaches while the vehicle is being driven, it can fall onto the roadway and create a significant hazard for other motorists, increasing the risk of a crash. No injuries or accidents have been specifically detailed in the notice, but the road hazard poses a threat to following traffic.

What You Should Do

  1. This recall affects 2022-2025 Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer vehicles where the exterior trim on the front doors may not be properly secured.
