Summary

Approximately 1,577 cases (nearly 19,000 containers) of Driscoll's Fresh Blueberries sold in 6 oz. and 1 pt. clamshells are being recalled. This recall was initiated after a customer reported finding small metal spheres, approximately 2.45 mm in diameter, inside the berries. These berries were distributed to retailers in California, Hawaii, Minnesota, Nevada, and Washington and should be returned for a full refund.

  4. Return the affected product to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact Driscoll's Inc. at their Watsonville, California headquarters.
  5. For additional questions or to report a complaint, contact the FDA Consumer Complaint hotline at 1-888-723-3332 (1-888-SAFEFDA) or visit www.fda.gov/safety/recalls.
