Summary

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 967 of its 2023 Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles because the fuel line may be deformed. This defect can lead to a fuel leak, which creates a significant safety hazard. Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel line for free to resolve the issue. Owners were notified by mail starting August 31, 2023.

Risk

A deformed fuel line can cause gasoline to leak from the vehicle. If leaking fuel comes into contact with an ignition source, such as a hot engine component or spark, it significantly increases the risk of a vehicle fire.

What You Should Do

  1. Check your vehicle's make, model, and year to see if you own a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV).
  2. Contact any authorized Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) dealer to schedule a free inspection and, if necessary, a replacement of the fuel line.
  3. If you have additional questions, contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403 and reference recall number 77A.
