Summary

American Honda Motor Co. is recalling approximately 2,155 of its 2024-2025 CBR650R motorcycles because engine vibration can damage the turn signal switch wire harness. This damage can cause an electrical short circuit that blows a fuse, resulting in the sudden loss of turn signals, brake lights, the speedometer, and the horn. Dealers will inspect the harness and perform the necessary repairs free of charge.

Risk

A blown fuse will cause a loss of critical safety functions including the brake light and turn signals, which significantly increases the risk of a crash or injury.
