Summary

Newmar Corporation is recalling 111 of its 2023-2025 Super Star motorhomes due to a safety defect. The inner wheel tire valve extension can become damaged by contact with the outer wheels, which may cause the inner tire to lose air pressure and lead to the outer tire becoming overloaded. To address this, dealers will remove the rear inner wheel tire valve extensions free of charge.

Risk

The overloading caused by the air pressure loss in the inner tire may result in a rear tire failure, which significantly increases the risk of a crash.
